Hi Elisa! I have chosed this activity because I didnt know this song, and I think can be very useful to learn parts of our bodies , diferents kinds of actions and new vocabulary easily. In adition, I am sure children will love it, because they can learn by moving their bodies. And it is very fun. I think the song can be used not only in English class, because it is very easy, and perhaps the children play with it at other times. And maybe, kids want to learn more vocabulary to do new things using their bodies, like to play "the leg catch". Thank you for sharing your blog!
This song is very funny. I have chosen it because sometime I used it and children usually like and learn it in a very easy way. I also think that music is a very good resource when teaching pre-school children because they can´t read texts, but they have the ability to learn songs.
Looks like a few of us like this song! I think is a great song for teaching the body parts while kids have fun. Learning a song is very natural for children even if it´s not in their mother tongue so, songs are always a good resource for teachers and students.
In other hand I think I´m commenting to soon because your blog is not finish so excuse me for what I´m going about to say, but maybe helps you. From my point of view you should change the background colour of the blog and maybe use a bright one to motive the kids, black is a little bit dark for them. I know this is not easy and you need time and practice to build a blog from the beginning and that´s why we are doing this subject in our course.
I really really hope you don´t take my comment in a bad way, because as I can see from the activities you posted you are working hard but just need to work a bit in the desing to motive little children. And as I said before, I´m just commenting too soon as your blog looks like being under construction yet.
